Wednesday August 12, found your LAA board of directors at 7 pm in the Lakewood Media Center, handling business matters. It was the first meeting of the new sports seasons. Our group meets the second Wednesday of August through April and you are welcome to join us.
Coaching Staff and AD Report: We met with “new and seasoned” members of our coaching staff and took some time to get acquainted with them as the group listened to their requests for “additional” financial support for their upcoming seasons.
Football Ticket Takers: LAA members volunteer their time to meet and greet you at Unity Field for our football games, so the official sign-up sheet went around the table. Hope to see a huge crowd each night supporting our players.
Donations: The group is grateful and pleased to report receiving over $2,500 in support from alumni families to add to our treasury balance.
Expenditures: Total = $13,915.96
Cash/Car Party Fundraiser News: YES, the party is moving to the 2nd week of March to be able to share in the excitement of our athletes going to state finals. Mark your calendars for March 13, 2027. Additional information will be forthcoming as the group makes out our lists and checks it twice!
