We’ve all read the headlines regarding the corrections arena - staff shortages, the increasing wellness crisis and a negatively portrayed profession.

At OVU, we’ve been hard at work not only at raising awareness, but we’ve also been addressing these issues. Join us this coming April 24th - 26th in Chicago at our annual Elevating Our Profession and Medal of Honor event where we will be reporting out on the work we’ve done, as well as exploring solutions to staff recruitment and retention, sharing best practices for staff wellness, conducting workshops on storytelling and narrative change, and honoring those who have gone above and beyond.
