KBF President Dr. French Harmon recently enjoyed meeting with Brother Al Weeks, the newly elected Associational Mission Strategist for the Northern Kentucky Baptist Association, at his office near Erlanger.

“Al will do a great job of sharing vision and providing guidance to the churches in the Northern Kentucky Baptist Association,” Dr. Harmon shared.

Dr. French Harmon had the opportunity to connect with University of Kentucky Baptist Campus Ministry Director Daniel Johnson during the BCM’s outreach event on Saturday, August 22, as students returned to campus for the new school year.

It has been an encouraging start to the semester, with more than 600 students coming through the UK BCM building this week and, most importantly, a report of one student coming to faith in Christ.

The Kentucky Baptist Foundation is excited about the ministry taking place at UK and grateful for Baptist Campus Ministries across the Commonwealth that are reaching students, sharing the Gospel, and investing in the next generation.

KBF President and CEO, Dr. French Harmon shares an update from EQUIP at Northside Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, where Kentucky Baptists have gathered for an evening of fellowship, encouragement, and practical training for ministry.

Dr. Evan Lenow recently began serving as President of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Supported through the Cooperative Program, the ERLC equips Southern Baptists to engage important ethical, religious liberty and public policy issues with biblical conviction. We are grateful for Dr. Lenow’s leadership and encourage Kentucky Baptists to pray for him as he begins this new role.
