Another need within our community!!

If anyone has any furniture or extra pantry items they don't need and are willing to donate that would be a blessing!

However- the biggest need right now is TWO beds. Doesn't matter the size! Mom is currently sleeping on the floor and the sons are sharing a bed 🩷

If you feel lead to help and have items please reach out to me directly! I can help coordinate pick up or give you the address to drop off directly 🩷

We have FIFTY families already signed up for thanksgiving ❤️

The list is steadily growing daily- and I've had to pause it for the time being until we can get these families covered

Things look very different this year. In the past we have served over 300 families yearly.

With just having our little man & Lits passing. My capacity to take on many more than 100 is slim we are prioritizing our families with children first.

Our nonprofits rely heavily on community funding and sponsorship from local businesses and families. If you've ever thought about donating or sponsoring a family now is the time!

Our thanksgiving blessing includes

- turkey
- stuffing
- potato's (instant)
- mac and cheese
- green beans
- rolls

On average this is $55 a family! Or if you'd like to buy directly that would be a blessing as well! Please please please let me know 🫶🏻 once we have the 50 families claimed I will open it up for 50 more!

It's been a while- so I wanted to reintroduce myself ❤️

For those who may not know me, my name is Allison, and I’m honored to be carrying on the work of Kids Feeding Kids.

When Lit passed away, I stepped in and took over the organization. While I am not related to Lit, I have been a part of Kids Feeding Kids since the very beginning. I’ve had the privilege of watching this organization grow, serving alongside Lit, and becoming very close friends with his family. This organization has always meant so much to me, and when the opportunity came to continue his work, I knew I couldn’t let what he built disappear.

Kids Feeding Kids was created with a simple purpose: to make sure no child goes without. Whether that means food, school supplies, clothing, Christmas gifts, emergency assistance, or simply having someone step in during a difficult season — we want families in our community to know they are not alone. ❤️

A little about me — I’m a mom, wife, a small business owner, and someone who has always had a heart for helping people. Through my businesses and community work, I’ve spent years organizing fundraisers, collecting donations, providing meals, helping families with bills and necessities, and finding ways to give back whenever I can.

Taking on Kids Feeding Kids is something I don’t take lightly. I know I’m stepping into something that was built from a lot of love, hard work, and dedication. My goal isn’t to replace Lit or change what made this organization special. My goal is to honor what he started, keep his vision alive, and help Kids Feeding Kids continue to grow and reach even more children and families.

We are based right here in our tri county area/ community, and we believe that helping one family can change everything for them.

So whether you’ve been following Kids Feeding Kids since the beginning, you knew Lit personally, you’ve volunteered with us, donated to us, received help from us, or you’re just discovering us for the first time — welcome. 🫶

We’re excited for this next chapter, and we have so much planned.

Sharing on behalf of our sweet friend Anita Starling who is a dedicated supporter of our program. Anita reached out with a friend in need today and we would love to help her however we can.

🚨 URGENT: A Friend Needs Our Community Right Now

I’m reaching out today on behalf of someone who means a great deal to me. Since May, I’ve been doing everything I can to help this person through an incredibly difficult season. I was able to cover their June rent, but they are now behind on July and August and have been served with a 3-day notice to pay or vacate.

Time is running out. If the rent isn’t paid before that deadline expires, they could lose their home.

To protect their privacy and dignity, I won’t be sharing any identifying information. I simply ask that you trust me when I say this is a genuinely good person who has fallen on hard times and is doing everything they can to get back on their feet.

Hi everyone, we are looking to BLESS the Ballesteros Family! Carlos and Natalia have been married for 18 years, and together God has entrusted them with five wonderful children. As she says, they are the greatest joy and blessing of our lives.

In 2015, God opened the door for their family to move to Mayo. Since then, this incredible community has become so much more than the place they call home; it has become family.

Several years ago, their lives changed when Carlos was diagnosed with Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), a progressive genetic kidney disease. As the disease has advanced, his kidney function has continued to decline, greatly affecting his health, strength, and daily life. They have reached a point where he is facing very bad kidney damage; his condition is at stage 4 at the moment, and he is preparing for the next steps in his journey. Carlos is the sole provider and isn’t able to work at this time. Natalia is a stay at home mom and homeschools all 5 of her children- she is super mom!

While this road has been difficult for them, they have seen God's faithfulness every step of the way. They continue to trust in His perfect plan.

We are hoping to bless them immensely with this fundraiser!

Hey friends! It's me again!

We recieved a message over at The Faith Project of a young man locally who is starting a new job!

However- he's in need of some basic items (socks, hardhat, vest, shoes etc) in order to start on Monday!

We would love to bless him with what he needs! The total comes to $153 and I've added pictures of what is needed below if you'd like to purchase directly!

Also- all my blue collar friends I've sent you messages to see if you may have some extra of these items laying around that he can use! He isn't picky, it doesn't have to be brand new. He just wants to start work Monday but unfortunately has hardly enough money to get gas for the week.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Lit Cole. Our director and man behind it all!

Lit was known and deeply loved by so many. He was a true man of God—one who chased relentlessly after the things of the Kingdom. He loved his children, his grandchildren, and his community with his whole heart. He was an incredible father, papa, mentor, and servant leader whose impact will be felt for generations.

Lit was the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to make sure no one—especially no child—went without. That selfless love poured into everything he did and into this program. He called me almost daily with new ideas: new ways to serve hurting people, new ways to expand our outreach, new endeavors to try within my business, and ways to stretch the assistance we were given nationwide. He never wanted recognition or the spotlight—he preferred to work quietly in the background, faithfully making things happen.

His heart for ministry was evident in his weekly Bible studies, where he poured into others with wisdom, humility, and truth. Through his obedience and faith, he led many people to Christ and had the honor of baptizing several along the way. Lit’s focus was always clear: leading people to the Kingdom of God and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

I will never forget when we took our first mission trip to North Carolina. Four days before we were set to leave, he called me and said, “Allison, God is calling me there—and we’re going.” I laughed, but in true Lit fashion, that’s exactly what we did. And God made a way—He always did. There was never an idea too big or too small for Lit. If the Lord placed it on his heart, he moved in obedience without hesitation.

While our hearts are heavy, we find peace knowing that Lit is now resting with our Lord—whole, healed, and rejoicing in Heaven. No more pain, no more burdens—only joy in the presence of Jesus.

Please keep his family, especially his daughters, in your prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
