PALM SUNDAY 2026

Jesus & His Triumphant Entry Into Jerusalem!
Christians all over the world today celebrate & remember Palm Sunday.
As Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem a large crowd gathered &
laid down palm branches & even some their cloaks on the road.
Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey to fulfill the prophecy
concerning Him in the Old Testament found in:
Zechariah 9:9 "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout,
O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee:
he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon
an ass, and upon a c**t the foal of an ass."
As Jesus entered the crowd that had gathered began to give Jesus
the royal treatment that was fit for a king.
The people had been under political pressure & more than
spiritual deliverance from their sin & its bo***ge they were
looking more for an earthly insurrectionto topple the suppression
from Rome.
They were looking for an earthly political victory.
They had no idea of the battle Jesus was coming to fight.
Jesus did come to defeat an enemy, but not the one the people
were wanting Him to get involved with, defeat & take over.
Had they been listening to His words they would have known better.
He had made it clear to those who had an ear to hear
Him in John 18:36
"Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom
were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not
be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence."
But they were so stuck on their carnal agenda that their ears
& hearts were closed to His mission from Heaven & His eterna
l work & purpose.
They wanted just Jesus to free them nationally.
He came not to fight on earth in a carnal war rather He came to
defeat the enemy of sin, death, hell, & the grave that had held
mankind in bo***ge since the fall of Adam & Eve in the garden.
They saw Jesus but did not recognize Him for who He was.
They did not have the capacity to carry His assignment from
His Father let alone His requirements
to be His disciples & to spiritually take up their cross & follow Him.
They did not recognize the Great I Am clothed in flesh.
They did not understand with their carnal minds that kingdom
success follow a different set of rules from the earthly carnal mindset.
Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, a beast of burden,
not a war horse as other kings would have.
His acts were to show His Kingship was of a different kind & from a
different source outside the earthly realm.
He sits on the lowliest of animals over the kingly horse.
He was distinct from the kings they had been use to seeing.
Jesus showed the people that to be great you must be
first humble & kind.
He showed them that mercy & compassion was not a weakness.
He showed them that convictions & standards was not arrogance,
nor did it require one to act like a bully or a brute beast.
Rather He came the King of Glory as a servant carrying a towel
& becoming the eternal sacrifice for the sin of the world.
Matther 23: 11-12 "But he that is greatest among you shall be
your servant. And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be
abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted."
As we study the life of Jesus, we can for certain without a doubt
proclaim that NEVER will another foot touch earthly soil
that will ever be as great or greater than Jesus Christ The Son
Of The Living God.
He was humble & yet He won the greatest battle that
was ever fought on Mount Calvary, Golgotha's Hill,
the Place of the Skull.
Sadly, these that gathered crying "Hosanna to the Son of David!"
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" on Palm Sunday
would just days later be many of the same ones crying
"Let Him Be Crucified."
Sadly, the people were fickle & undependable then &
they still are today.
Many today still do not see nor understand who Jesus
really is or the Kingdom of Heaven & its ways.
May we see through eyes that have been enlightened in His word
& by His Spirit that we may not try to make a version of the
Jesus we want.
May we see Him & recognize Him for who He Is
In all His Glory & all His requirements of being His disciples.
Ride On King Jesus!!!
One day He will ask of us, "Will you ride with me?"
Only those who have come to the cross of Christ, His shed blood,
& accepted Him as the sacrifice for their redemption will be able
to respond yes to Him then.
In Service To The King Of Kings, The King of Glory,
Jesus The Christ The Son Of The Living God.
