Today, Paula’s class celebrated National Black Cat Day with a fun and creative group activity inspired by the famous author Edgar Allan Poe and his short story, The Black Cat! 🐈‍⬛

During their lesson, clients learned a little about Poe, his literary works, and the inspiration behind his mysterious storytelling. To bring the lesson to life, everyone worked together to create a large black cat collage, adding their own creative touches to one shared masterpiece! 🎨✨

Activities like these are a wonderful way to combine literature, creativity, and hands-on learning while encouraging teamwork, communication, and self-expression. We love seeing our clients explore new topics, work together, and have fun while learning something new! 🖤🐾

Our CARC friends enjoyed their usual bowling outing today, but this time we had an unexpected visitor! A friendly officer from the Lake City Police Department stopped by and took a moment to make someone’s day a little brighter! 🥰

It’s the little moments like these that create lasting memories and remind us how much kindness and community connections matter. 💙

🎃🍂 Fall Fun at Will’s Pumpkin Patch! 🧡

Today, our CARC crew enjoyed a wonderful outing to Will’s Pumpkin Patch in Live Oak! From sharing laughs to making memories, everyone had such a great time enjoying the fall festivities! 🍁

What makes this pumpkin patch even more special is that it benefits the Will Carpenter AYA Cancer Foundation, which supports adolescents and young adults facing cancer. 💛

We are so thankful for opportunities like these that allow our individuals to get out into the community, experience new things, and simply enjoy time together! It was a day filled with smiles, laughter, and memories we’ll cherish! 🎃🧡
