A nice day for a bed build in Lake City Florida!!! Good turnout and great spirit to help meet our goal of building 25 beds!! We also had 6 beds built by Columbia High School Building Trades and Design Technology Program. Thank you!! Thank you to all those who came out and supported us. Thanks to the Columbia High School students who worked again delivering to our Lake City Chapter 6 new beds today. We started several months ago working with the instructor Mr. Scott Dockery of the Building Trades and Design Technology Program at Columbia High School. We provided needed fixtures, bed build training, lumber and the students built 5 beds. Today they delivered 6 more at the end of the current school year. Students helping students!! Amazing!!! Thank you!!

Help support our bed build on 5/30 starting at 8:30am at the Christian Service Center. This is our last build until the fall. So we need to build up our stock as deliveries will continue.

Students from the “Building Trades and Design Technology Program” at Columbia High School are helping the Lake City Florida SHP chapter with building beds. After attending several bed builds, providing them with several fixtures, holding in class training they produced 5 beds!! As an educational program, they understand that they are also helping fellow students with a bed.
