y-DNA and mitochondria-DNA testing have been essential in assisting us to confirm the different Menzies’ family lineages. A big ‘thank you’ to those who have, and will in the future, participate in this Project.

We have received the following poignant tribute from Martin Withington for his grandfather James Murray Menzies (1880-1958) detailing his service at the Boer War and World War I. This tribute is a reminder to us all of the ANZAC Spirit and the real sadness of the loss of loved ones during conflict. LEST WE FORGET.
