7 day PRL Prayer, Update and Encouragement

1) Prayer Partners: Please join us in prayer asking the Father for perseverance as we trust in His timing. Pray that we wait upon Him as He prepares each of us for the calling to follow Jesus faithfully.

2) Ministry Updates: Listening to the following message from Mark Jobe brought tears to my eyes as I thought about failure, feeling like I might have failed AGAIN. But the Lord reminds me that He has redeemed every area of our lives. As we look forward in ministry, we must continue to trust in the Lord and not lean on our own understanding, as mentioned in Proverbs 3:5-6 (my life verse as of about 3-4 years ago). We plan to start sending these updates on a monthly basis for the time being.

3) Word of Encouragement: Moving Beyond Failure -- Part 1

1) Prayer Partners: Please join us in praising our Lord Jesus Christ for his perfect timing, not "our" timing. We ask for the filling of the Holy Spirit so we may walk in his will in complete obedience.

2) Ministry Updates: God our Father is faithful! After almost two months He provided a tenant for the 28th Street home who were able to move in immediately. A sweet family with 5 little one's - a perfect fit for the home! We are so grateful for His provision.

3) Word of Encouragement: Under the Influence -- Part 2

1) Prayer Partners: Pray for protection and direction that we remain faithful as He is faithful. He is good no matter how we feel or what we see. We pray He will give you the strength to keep going even when you don't know how He is going to work everything out. In Jesus name.

2) Ministry Updates: God does all things for His Glory, not for us to be noticed but Him alone. We put our trust in Him and know His Will is done in spite of us or our efforts. We "lean not on our own understanding", but in all things we know He is faithful. It's not about us.

3) Word of Encouragement: Love Stops for Change -- Part 1

A bleeding woman … a sick child … both of them needed Jesus.
