The YWCA Phyllis Wheatley Center is a community center in the East Knoxville. Programs include aAter School Enrichment and Summer Kids in Play.

Building rentals are also available. A trusted east Knoxville community center, the YWCA Phyllis Wheatley Center (PWC) is home to our comprehensive youth programming, including After-School Enrichment, Summer Kids in Play, REACH Internship Program and Reducing Chronic Absenteeism (ReCAb). The PWC also hosts community events, offers Club W health and fitness programming, and is available for community rentals.

Our students had a wonderful time visiting our YWCA Oak Ridge location for Trunk N Treats as we kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month! 💜

Beyond the fun, this event provided an opportunity to connect with community resources, raise awareness, and reinforce the importance of standing together to end domestic violence.

Mental Wellness Matters!!!

As we continue to support our students around mental wellness, we are so grateful for the incredible partnerships that make these experiences possible!

Our students had the opportunity to spend time on Montvale Ranch through our partnership with EmpowerKnox and Harmony Family Justice Center. They enjoyed time outdoors, connected with animals, learned new things, and had space to simply breathe, connect, and be present.

A huge THANK YOU to and Harmony Family Justice Center for investing in the wellness of our students and helping us create meaningful experiences that they will remember!
