Our Green Construction Bootcamp crew recently spent some time helping maintain the grounds around the SEEED building by cutting the grass and keeping the property looking its best! 🌱🏡

We appreciate their hard work, positive attitudes, and willingness to take pride in every task they are given. It has been exciting to watch their growth and progress throughout the program as they continue developing valuable skills and a strong work ethic. Keep up the great work, team! 🔨👏

Progress continues on the Iredell House! 🏡✨

We wanted to share some updated photos of the home as it continues to take shape. From insulation and caulking to siding and drywall, our Green Construction Bootcamp students have been gaining valuable hands-on experience every step of the way.

Another major milestone has been reached at the Iredell House! 🏡🔨

This week, drywall is being installed by our partners at Quality Coats & Painting, with our Green Construction Bootcamp students learning from and assisting their experienced team throughout the process. This hands-on experience gives our students valuable real-world construction skills while helping move the home closer to completion.

Drywall does much more than create smooth interior walls and ceilings. It helps provide fire protection, sound insulation between rooms, and conceals the home's wiring, plumbing, insulation, and structural framework. Every sheet installed is another step toward creating a safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient home for a future family.
