I hope everyone is surviving these winter storms and staying warm and safe wherever you are. ❄️ As we’re all bundling up, I wanted to share a little encouragement and an exciting update from CHN.

Today marks exactly one month until our CHN GETAWAY Gala Fundraiser! 🎉 This special evening plays a vital role in making the 2026 CHN GetAway in Bratislava, Slovakia possible.

About the Slovakia GetAway
The CHN GetAway is a time intentionally set aside for missionaries to rest and be cared for—no fundraising, no required sessions, just space to breathe, connect, and be refreshed. We are thrilled to be hosting the 2026 GetAway in Bratislava, Slovakia, and can’t wait to serve missionaries faithfully serving throughout Europe.

Dear Friends,

We’re just days away from the 2025 Missionary Getaway in Zambia, and we wanted to thank you again for your support and invite you to pray with us as this special week approaches.

Our team will be flying out at the end of this week to begin preparations for the missionaries' arrival at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Lusaka. The event officially begins on June 9th, and we are eagerly anticipating a powerful time of rest, encouragement, and connection for the 158 missionaries who will be joining us from across the continent.

Please join us in prayer over the coming days for:

Safe travel for both our team and all 158 missionaries traveling in from 9 different countries around the region (Zambia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, South Africa, Uganda, Mozambique, Kenya, Eswatini and Malawi)

Deep rest and restoration for the missionaries, many of whom serve in difficult and remote areas

That our team will be attentive, loving, and ready to meet their needs with joy and compassion

Our Kids Club, which will be serving 49 children this year! Pray for fun, safety, and meaningful moments as we pour into these amazing kids.

We are incredibly grateful for your prayers, encouragement, and generosity. None of this would be possible without you. We can’t wait to share the stories and moments of impact with you when we return!

“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.” — Matthew 28:6 (NIV)

Easter Sunday is only beautiful because of what happened on Good Friday. Before the joy of the empty tomb, there was the sorrow of the cross. On that dark day, Jesus bore the full weight of sin, pain, and separation—out of love for us. He took our place, paid our debt, and made a way back to the Father.

Good Friday reminds us that even though salvation is free, it definitely wasn’t cheap. It cost Jesus everything. But it also reminds us of how deeply we are loved—that even in our brokenness, He chose the cross for us.

And yet, the cross was not the end of the story.

On Easter morning, light broke through the grave. Jesus didn’t stay buried—He rose again, conquering sin and death once and for all. The resurrection isn’t just something to celebrate; it’s the foundation of our hope. It means we are forgiven, we are free, and we are never alone.

Sometimes life feels like we’re stuck in Saturday—somewhere between the pain of Good Friday and the promise of Easter. But the resurrection reminds us: Sunday always comes.

🌍 Remembering Our Missionary Friends:
As we celebrate Easter, let us also lift up our missionary friends who are serving faithfully around the world. Many of them are far from home, family, and familiar traditions during this season—but they are not far from our hearts or God’s presence.

Their work continues to carry the message of the resurrection to places that may have never heard the name of Jesus. What greater gift could we give this Easter than our prayers and encouragement?

Let’s keep them in mind:

Pray for strength and joy as they serve.

Pray for open doors to share the Good News.

Pray for God’s protection and presence to surround them.

May we honor their sacrifice by living boldly and generously wherever we are planted.

Jesus, thank You for the cross and the empty tomb. Thank You for defeating sin, shame, and death. Because You live, I have hope. I lift up our missionary friends to You today—encourage their hearts, empower their words, and surround them with Your peace. Bless their work as they share the hope of Your resurrection across the world. Help me walk in the light of Easter—not just today, but every day. Amen. 🙏
