THCC is happy to host Lefkowitz fellows in partnership with Vanderbilt University’s public health program each year. Congratulations to Neena O’Mara and Reilly Wade for participating in this year’s cohort. Neena recently presented her research on the difficulties Tennessee ambulance services face in caring for rural communities. She is pictured here after presenting her work with Communications Coordinator Lacey Lyons and THCC advocate Clare Sullivan. We wish Neena and Reilly well as they continue to serve Tennesseans’ healthcare needs.

We are deeply saddened by the news of the passing of such a giant in the movement and co-director of one of our member groups.

Seeing the all the shares of her connection and importance to soo many people and places speaks to the monumental loss in our community.

Our condolences to Vonda’s family, her labor family and our Highlander family during this time. May her soul be at peace.

The reunion of, love for and need to connect with like minded people was palpable in the room and it translates through these photos.

This past weekend showed me the value of the Circle of Change Awards to the community and we are honored to steward the next 26 years of them.

Thank you to the donors, attendees, volunteers and honorees who made this happen!!
