Reese is an 8th grader currently enrolled in Indiana Autusm Service-Piece by Piece. He has been enrolled there for 3 years, and while he is making improvements, he still has a long way to go. Reese has seizures daily, some of which are absent seizures. Being no verbal, he has no way to communicate as he also isn’t able to point to things he wants or needs. Having a service dog would alert his parents and caregivers day and night of any seizures, sometimes even before the seizures occurs. Service dogs are also trained to cushion the fall, so if Reese falls during a seizure the dog would lay between Reese and the ground to prevent or lessen injury A service dog also help by calming him emotionally. Reese is loved by many and can put a smile on anyone’s face! If your not able to ride please donate to this much needed cause. Absolutely every dollar will be greatly appreciated and needed!
