From St. Dominic Catholic School to the University of Tennessee, Richelly Lorenzo-Guzman continues a journey marked by hard work, leadership, friendship, and faith. ❤️
A 2019 graduate of St. Dominic and 2026 graduate of Dobyns-Bennett High School, Richelly will study Chemical Engineering at UT this fall.
At Dobyns-Bennett, Richelly has compiled an extraordinary list of accomplishments, including:
⭐ Top 10 graduate with distinction
⭐ ACT 30+ Club
⭐ National Honor Society
⭐ State Seal of Bilingualism
⭐ Scores of 3+ on 10 AP exams
⭐ Participation in Beta Club, softball, and basketball
⭐ Mentoring and helping lead a toy drive for Niswonger Children’s Hospital
⭐ Team captain at Smoothie King
But when asked what she remembers most about St. Dominic, Richelly spoke not first about achievements, but about relationships.
“Something I definitely remember are the friends and teachers I got the opportunity to meet and my memories with them,” she shared. “One especially being the Doe River trip in 5th grade. There were so many laughs and so much joy and honestly the perfect way to close my experience at St. Dominic.”
Richelly reflected on the close-knit environment at St. Dominic and the lifelong friendships formed through growing up together in faith and community.
When asked if there was a teacher or staff member she wanted to thank, Richelly said:
“There have been so many that have shaped me into who I am today, and that within itself has a lot to say about the people and the loving environment at St. Dominic.”
As she looks ahead, Richelly says she is most excited about:
“Growing and experiencing the world!”
Congratulations, Richelly! We are so proud of you and grateful to have been part of your journey. Your St. Dominic family will be cheering you on every step of the way. 🎓❤️
