👋 Welcome to the ETCF team, Kelsey!

We are thrilled to introduce Kelsey Uselton, who has joined East Tennessee Clean Fuels as our new Special Projects Coordinator through the AmeriCorps program! ⚡️🌱

A Knoxville native, Kelsey holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from UT Knoxville and an M.S. from CU Boulder, with research centered on energy storage and conversion. She even presented climate research at the yearly United Nations Climate Change Conference in Baku, Azerbaijan!

At ETCF, Kelsey will focus on community-oriented impact by supporting key initiatives like:
🔋 Charging Smart: Helping local municipalities achieve EV readiness designations and offering technical assistance.
🔌 TEST Real World: Gathering and analyzing national EV charger performance data.
🚌 Clean Fleets: Assisting with project stewardship and reporting, including hands-on site visits for alternative fuel transit, refuse, and school buses across Tennessee!

When she's not advancing the clean energy transition, you can find her reading, playing games with family, or exploring the outdoors with her pup, Quinn. 🐶

PERC is excited to announce the launch of the Propane Autogas Research Program! Qualified private corporate and commercial fleets can receive $7,500 for up to five eligible propane autogas vehicles, plus up to $10,000 for site prep when fueling infrastructure doesn’t exist. These fleets will also experience the benefits of significantly lower fuel and maintenance costs, reduced emissions, and the proven performance of propane autogas vehicles. In return, recipients will simply report on real-world operating and maintenance results quarterly for one year. 🏢⚡️ New Funding Alert: Multifamily EV Charging Rebates in TN!

Attention property owners, managers, and HOAs! The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) has launched the Multifamily Housing Rebate Program, making $650,000 available for Level 2 EV charging infrastructure at multifamily residential properties.

Funding Details:

💰Rebate Amounts: Covers 60% of eligible costs, up to $10,000 per plug for low-income housing or burdened census tract areas, and up to $6,000 per plug for all other developments.
🏢 Eligibility: Multifamily developments in Tennessee with at least 4 units per site.
🛠 Covered Costs: Equipment, hardware, and make-ready installation activities.

Expanding access to charging at home is essential to growing EV adoption across Tennessee! 🔌🚗
