The Bearden Rotary Club was honored to host VFL and captain of the 1973 University of Tennessee Football team Eddie Brown at our Friday luncheon on May 1st. Eddie was a defensive back and punt returner for the Vols from 1970-1973. A First Team All-American at Tennessee, and later NFL All-Pro, and Pro Bowler, Eddie captivated the room with stories from his storied playing career. Listening to Eddie speak it was clear how much Eddie still loves his home here in East Tennessee and his family.

Join the Bearden Rotary for a Day at the Races 🏇!

Dust off your hats and join the Rotary Club of Bearden for our Kentucky Derby party! The event will be held at Holston Hills Country Club this Saturday for the most exciting two minutes in sports with all proceeds benefiting local charities.

The event will be from 4:30 PM – 8:30 PM. There will be drinks, a full catered dinner, and a charity auction.
