Final cooking demo of the season! Zucchini fries with garlic aioli to start us off! Italian orzo salad is next.Homemade Italian wedding soup next up, home made pizza 2 ways. 1st prosciutto with roasted red peppers, mozzarella and balsamic glaze. 2nd is Italian pear and gorgonzola with honey. For dessert, traditional Italian lemon olive oil cake.

Well we had some challenges today on this first day of cookie baking season for Fall Festa (no electricity to start the day, ovens not working and emergency supply runs!). But thanks to all who came out and helped us. We made almost 1,500 lemon cookies today!

Today we hosted the Bocce Special Olympics at the lodge! What a great event letting some amazing athletes compete in our favorite game of Bocce. Thanks so much to everyone who came out and volunteered for the event!

Today we celebrate all the incredible mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, and mother figures who fill our families and traditions with love, strength, and pride. Thank you for the countless sacrifices, warm meals, family gatherings, and cherished memories that keep our Italian-American heritage strong for generations to come.

Come join our lodge and the Victory Project as we host the Victory Project Bocce Event on July 31st at 5:00 PM! Cost is $200 per team. To sign up, please email Caroline Comer, Development Director of Victory Project, to register by July 1st.

The Victory Project’s mission is to empower the youth to discover the life God intended for them. By mastering self-awareness, self-sufficiency, and selfless service, they are tearing down the pillars of poverty, all without government funding.
