Provide safe housing and faith-based recovery to help those achieve sobriety The Joshua Recovery Ministries, Inc.

is a faith-based organization established as a non-profit corporation having the mission to set people free from drug and alcohol addiction. We accomplish this through faith-based care, and sharing holistic principles that help the person value one’s self, loved ones, and community. We believe all addictions are sicknesses that require a person to look to God, personal counseling, and encouragement of others on the road to their recovery. At the start of the ministry in 2008 was the founding of a house in Dayton, Ohio for those needing help recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. Our recovery program is centered around a person making a commitment of faith and our faith based coaching. Since the founding of the first house, we felt God leading us to help more of the community with other counseling needs such as grief, depression, and those that are functioning in society with addiction that need the services of a professional counselor. Today, we have three men’s houses, one women’s house, and two maternity apartment buildings – all located in the Dayton, Ohio area. Our housing program continues to grow in its service to the community, and we are truly blessed for that!

Lord, we come to you today with a heart full of gratitude. Your unwavering love teaches us daily how to be better servants. Continue to guide this ministry as you see fit. Pour into our residents with your holy spirit and give them strength to overcome, JUST FOR TODAY!

We wanted to take a moment to highlight Shelter Recovery. Over the last several years, our residents have attended their Tuesday evening meetings. The number of genuine relationships and connections that have been formed just by simply attending is a testament to God and what He will provide! This isn't just a meeting; It's worship and small group discussions, forging the opportunity to dive deeper into their faith.

If you've never attended, we highly encourage you to check them out. They also have an "eating meeting" where they provide refreshments, and you know we love a good meeting that also has free food!

Thank you, Shelter Recovery, for providing a safe space for our residents and every other attendee to expand in their journeys of recovery.

JRM had so much fun at Xenia's Hope Fest at Shawnee Park! The kids made sure all the staff stopped at each table to exchange contact info (every table had candy!)

We LOVE being able to work together and help those we serve... and we love candy, too!
