Behind every memorable moment at our 28th Annual Red Ribbon Day was an incredible group of vendors, food vendors, exhibitors, volunteers, supporters, and community partners who helped bring this year's celebration to life!

From serving up delicious food and hosting fun activities to sharing valuable resources, connecting with families, and lending a helping hand throughout the day, each of you played an important role in making this event so special.

Red Ribbon Day is about more than just a day of fun. It's about bringing our community together, building meaningful connections, raising awareness, and reminding everyone that prevention, recovery, and support are stronger when we work together.

To everyone who set up a table, shared their services, volunteered their time, contributed to the festivities, or supported our mission in any way: THANK YOU!

Meaningful change doesn't happen overnight. It happens when we stand together, year after year.

At this year’s 28th Annual Red Ribbon Day, we had the opportunity to hear from Elvin Santiago of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, one of Prevention Links’ longtime supporters and valued community partners.

Elvin shared why Horizon has continued to stand beside Prevention Links throughout the years, reminding us of the incredible impact that comes from partnerships built on shared values, lasting commitment, and a belief in stronger, healthier communities.

We believe partnerships shouldn't just last for an event or a season. They should grow, evolve, and create lasting change for generations to come.

As we reflect on another incredible Red Ribbon Day, we invite more businesses, organizations, and community leaders to become part of the Prevention Links family. Together, we can expand our reach, strengthen our impact, and continue showing up for the communities that need us most.

At Prevention Links' 28th Annual Red Ribbon Day, we had the honor of recognizing outstanding individuals and community partners whose dedication to prevention, recovery, and public service continues to create lasting change throughout Union County.

From our Naloxone Deployment Award recipients, Officers Nelson Reyes and Steve Torres, to our Community Impact Award honoree, Union County Prosecutor Gina P. Iosum, we are proud to celebrate those who go above and beyond to support healthier, safer, and stronger communities.

A little rest and recovery goes a long way! ❤️

A big thank you to Restore Hyper Wellness - Short Hills for joining us at this year’s Red Ribbon Day and treating our attendees to compression therapy sessions!

Between the Prevention Walk and all the excitement of the Family Fun Festival, Restore gave our community a chance to kick back, relax, and experience a little well-deserved recovery.

New Jersey is receiving more than $1 billion in opioid settlement funds, money meant to repair the harm the overdose crisis has done to families and communities. How those dollars get spent is crucial.

Our CEO Morgan Thompson joined Rob Nelson on NJ PBS to talk about where they should go: evidence-based programs, harm reduction, and recovery support that lasts. Morgan has been in recovery for more than 17 years, and she knows recovery isn’t a 30-day fix.

At this year’s 28th Annual Red Ribbon Day, we asked two of our walkers one simple question: “Why do you walk?”

Their answers remind us that every step has a purpose, every story matters, and every person who walks helps bring us closer to a stronger, healthier, and substance-free community.

Whether you walk for yourself, a loved one, someone you've lost, or simply because you believe in the power of prevention, your reason matters.
