Behind every successful medical mission is a team working tirelessly behind the scenes, and our amazing pharmacist, Dr. Damilola Odedele, is one of those people!

From managing medications to making sure our patients receive the treatments they need, Damilola leads our pharmacy team with dedication, compassion, and a true heart for service.

We’re so grateful for the time, energy, and expertise she pours into our missions.

They are identical twin brothers. They are elite surgeons. They are proud U.S. Army veterans. But beyond their titles, they are healers in the purest sense of the word — men who refused to look away when they saw suffering.

Years ago, when they heard about the desperate need for surgical care among civilians in war-torn Afghanistan, they didn’t just donate. They went. Honoree Spotlight: Alison Smith 💚
Some people don’t just say they care, they keep showing up.
Today, we’re proud to spotlight Alison Smith, one of our 2026 honorees. Alison has joined us on two medical missions to rural western Kenya, where she has lovingly cared for children and families who often have limited access to quality healthcare.
Mission work isn’t always easy. The days are long, the needs are great, and sometimes the circumstances can be overwhelming. Yet Alison continues to serve with compassion, patience, and a genuine heart for our little patients.
At Mercy and Love Foundation, we deeply appreciate individuals like Alison who are willing to give their time, skills, and heart to make someone else’s life a little better.
