Through Prevention Links' NJ4S Union Hub, we're working alongside schools, families, and community partners to build healthier, more resilient communities. From youth mental health support and prevention programming to family resources and school-based services, our team is committed to helping young people succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

July is Disability Pride Month, a time to celebrate the contributions, identities, and experiences of people with disabilities while recognizing that accessibility, inclusion, and representation benefit everyone.

This month, our office bulletin board has been transformed to highlight books by disabled authors and TV shows featuring disabled characters, inspired by this year's Disability Pride theme from The Arc: "The world works better with us.”

Representation matters. The stories we read, the shows we watch, and the voices we amplify all help create a more inclusive world where everyone feels seen, valued, and understood.

Take a moment this month to discover a new book, watch a new show, and learn more about the Disability Pride movement. Together, we can help build communities where everyone belongs.

Juneteenth is a time to celebrate freedom, reflect on our history, and recognize the importance of creating communities where every young person feels seen, valued, and supported.

As we commemorate the day enslaved African Americans in Texas finally learned of their freedom, we also recognize the importance of continuing conversations about inclusion, equity, and belonging.

NJ4S Union Hub encourages youth and families to take time today to learn about the significance of Juneteenth, celebrate Black culture and achievements, and help build a future where every young person has the opportunity to succeed.

This Memorial Day, NJ4S Union remembers and honors the courageous individuals who gave their lives while serving our country.

As Wellness Wonderland 2026 came to a close, the NJ4S Union Hub team ended the day with a heartfelt sendoff for one of our own, Briana Ampadu, whose final day with our team was spent doing what she always did best: showing up for young people and our community with kindness, energy, and care.

Briana has been an important part of NJ4S Union, bringing positivity, compassion, and dedication into every space she entered. From supporting youth and families to helping create meaningful community events like Wellness Wonderland, her impact will continue to be felt long after her last day.

We are so grateful for everything Briana brought to our team and wish her nothing but success, happiness, and new opportunities in this next chapter. Once NJ4S Union family, always NJ4S Union family.

A huge thank you to the incredible exhibitors, community organizations, performers, and event staff who helped make Wellness Wonderland 2026 such an impactful experience for youth and families across Union County.

From wellness resources and youth leadership opportunities to interactive activities, performances, games, and community engagement, our exhibitors brought creativity, energy, and meaningful support to every part of the event. NJ4S Union Hub staff and partners worked throughout the day to create a welcoming environment where young people could connect, explore, and celebrate wellness together.

Events like Wellness Wonderland are only possible through strong community collaboration, and we are grateful to every organization, team member, and partner who showed up to support our youth.

Wellness Wonderland 2026 would not have been possible without the incredible volunteers who brought energy, kindness, and positivity to every corner of the event.

From helping families navigate activities, supporting wellness stations, assisting with face painting and games, welcoming guests, and creating a fun and encouraging environment for youth, our volunteers played a huge role in making the day so special. Their dedication helped turn Wellness Wonderland into a space where connection, creativity, and community could truly shine.

Drumming performances, martial arts demonstrations, face painting, hands-on art activities, interactive games, and family-friendly wellness stations brought Wellness Wonderland 2026 to life for youth and families across Union County.

From powerful performances to creative expression and movement-based activities, every part of the event was designed to celebrate wellness, confidence, culture, and connection. Families explored booths, children participated in activities throughout the day, and community partners helped create an environment full of energy, support, and fun.

Thank you to all of the performers, vendors, artists, instructors, and families who made this year’s Wellness Wonderland such a vibrant and memorable community event.

Wellness Wonderland 2026 was filled with movement, creativity, music, and moments of connection for youth and families across Union County. From martial arts demonstrations and interactive drumming circles to hands-on crafts, planting activities, face painting, and wellness stations, every activity was designed to encourage self-expression, confidence, and community.

The energy throughout the day was incredible as families explored new experiences, kids joined in performances and activities, and community partners helped create a space centered around joy, mental wellness, and togetherness.

Thank you to everyone who performed, facilitated activities, and helped make Wellness Wonderland such a memorable celebration of youth wellness and community connection.
