What a night for Pack 83! ⚜️8️⃣3️⃣⚜️

Knots were tied, keychains were crafted, boats hit the water, marshmallows took flight, and s’mores were devoured! From the first activity to the last sweet treat, our Pack 83 Open House was filled with fun, laughter, learning, and adventure.

Our prospective Scouts jumped right in and got a taste of what makes Cub Scouts so special—hands-on experiences, teamwork, new friendships, learning new skills, building confidence, and making memories that last a lifetime.

Take a look through the photos and see for yourself just how much fun our Scouts had!

Did your family miss the Open House? There’s still plenty of adventure waiting for you!

If your child is looking for a place to explore, learn, make friends, try new things, and be part of something special, Pack 83 is ready to welcome you.

Message us to learn more about joining Kenilworth Cub Scout Pack 83 and find out how your Scout can be part of the next adventure! 🏕️🥾🎣

Our Pack 83 Open House is TOMORROW! Join us Wednesday, October 7th, anytime from 6–8 PM at VFW Post 2230 and see what Cub Scouts is all about!

Come meet our Scouts, make some new friends, and jump into some fun Scouting activities. You’ll get to build, create, compete, and even CATAPULT MARSHMALLOWS across the room!

Don’t worry—we promise the marshmallows you eat for s’mores will NOT be the same ones your Scout launches into orbit. 😂

Cub Scouts is about so much more than camping and s’mores. It helps kids build confidence, leadership skills, teamwork, independence, problem-solving skills, and friendships—all while making memories that last a lifetime.

So come see what Pack 83 is all about. You never know… your Scout might just find their next adventure!

We’d love to meet your family and show you why Scouting is better when you’re part of the adventure!

Pack 83 is off to an amazing start!

Our first meeting was filled with adventure, teamwork, and plenty of fun! While our AOLs and Webelos prepared for their upcoming canoeing and camping adventure, our Lions, Tigers, Wolves, and Bears got creative as they personalized their Scout binders and took on a fun engineering challenge: building the tallest and most stable structure they could using only spaghetti and marshmallows!

From learning new skills to working together and having fun, this is what Cub Scouting is all about — building confidence, friendships, and memories along the way.

Want to see what Cub Scouts is all about?

Join us for the Kenilworth Cub Scout Pack 83 Open House on Wednesday, October 7, from 6:00–8:00 PM at the VFW in Kenilworth. Stop by anytime during the evening to meet our Scouts and leaders, learn more about Pack 83, participate in some fun, hands-on Scouting activities, and see why Scouting is such an incredible experience for kids and families.

We’d love to meet you and your family!

The Summer Edition of the Kenilworth Scouting Newsletter is here!

Summer was filled with adventure, growth, service, and memories for Kenilworth Scouting! Pack 83 and Troop 83 Scouts spent their summer exploring the outdoors, taking on new challenges, earning achievements, building friendships, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

A Special Troop 83 Achievement: Congratulations to Tyler Mikkelson on completing his Eagle Scout project at DiMario Park! Tyler led a project to install new benches along the park’s walking path, creating a welcoming place for the community to relax and enjoy the outdoors. His project is a wonderful example of the leadership and service Scouting inspires.

And there’s more to come! We’re excited to welcome new families to experience all that Scouting has to offer.

Join us for the Kenilworth Pack 83 & Troop 83 Open House, October 7th at 6:00 PM @ VFW Post 2230.

Come meet our Scouts and leaders, learn more about Pack 83 and Troop 83, and discover the adventures, friendships, leadership opportunities, and community service that make Scouting so meaningful.

Adventure awaits — we’d love for your family to be part of it!
