Today, we pause to remember and express our deepest gratitude to all the veterans who have bravely served our country. Your dedication, sacrifice, and resilience have safeguarded our freedom and enriched our lives.

To every veteran, past and present, thank you for your courage and for the countless ways you have shaped our nation’s history. At American Legion Post 60, we honor you not only today, but every day.

Join us in paying tribute to these heroes who have given so much. Let’s keep their legacy alive by carrying forward the values they fought to protect.

This November, Aux Unit 60 and Boy Scout Troop 56 are participating in the "Scouting for Food" program as our month of service project, and we’re asking for your support! This initiative is especially important this year, as it will help provide meals for families in need during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

In addition, our community was recently affected by a large apartment fire, which displaced approximately 25 families. We are reaching out to gather extra support for these families, who are in urgent need of food, clothing, and other essentials.
Here's how you can help:
Food Donations: Non-perishable items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, and other staples.
Gift Cards: Any amount to help families purchase what they need directly.

Essential Supplies: Personal hygiene products, baby supplies, and warm clothing items are all greatly appreciated.
Please consider contributing to this important cause to support those in need in our community. If you do not receive a bag on your doorstep but would still like to contribute, donations can be dropped off at the Casano Community Center, American Legion Post 60, or you can connect with me directly if you’d like to arrange a different method.
