Today is a very special day for Kolomona Kahanu.
While he graduates from Hilo High School back home in Hawaiʻi, he is currently in Aotearoa, New Zealand, representing himself, his family, his schools, and Hawaiʻi on the rugby field in a big game.
On a night when most are walking the graduation stage, Kolo is stepping onto the field chasing a dream he has worked so hard for. Though he cannot physically be at graduation, his heart is with his classmates, his ʻohana, and everyone celebrating him back home.
We are so proud of you, Kolo — for your sacrifice, your heart, and the way you carry Hawaiʻi with you wherever you go. ❤️🏉

🎓🏉 Congratulations to our rugby ʻohana graduates, Myles Buyuan-Martin & Daimen Fronda! 🏉🎓
Today we proudly celebrate these two young men as they graduate with the Class of 2026 from Keaʻau High School!
Both Myles and Daimen have been part of our rugby family, and it has been an honor watching them grow as athletes, teammates, and young men. Their hard work, dedication, and perseverance on and off the field have led them to this special milestone.
