We are incredibly proud to announce that one of our own, Kolomona Kahanu, has been awarded the 2025 Nelson College Rugby Scholarship by the US Rugby Foundation! 🇳🇿🔥

Kolo’s dedication, hard work, and passion for the game have earned him this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to train at Nelson College in New Zealand, one of the top rugby schools in the world. This experience will not only elevate his game but also help him grow academically and culturally.

US Rugby Foundation awards three 2025 Nelson College Scholarships!
🏉 We are proud to grant Nelson College Rugby Scholarships to Jamison Clegg (MT), Charles Gehl (MT), and Kolomona Kahanu (HI)!

These scholar-athletes will spend the spring & summer of 2025 at New Zealand’s Nelson College, gaining top-tier rugby training while advancing academically and culturally. We can't wait to see them bring their experience back to the U.S.! 💪

Come enjoy a FREE family event at Kamehameha Kapālama campus and support female athletes from around the 808 state as they compete against rugby teams from Utah and California!
