Great week for us here at Eden Plan and hope yours is as well.

This week saw us continuing to replant beds in our greenhouses, caring for our livestock, networking with other like agencies on the island, and of course watching our newest addition Martin the baby lamb grow fast as a w**d!

Stay tuned as very soon we will be making some super exciting announcements, as well as the launch of our podcast!

Here at Eden Plan, we are always working on something to further our mission of empowering former foster youth w a home, food, life skills, community, and much more.

That could be wprking in our greenhouses, expanding, saving baby lambs, etc...

This week, the solar rooftop water heater started leaking.
Nit bad considering it was gifted in that condition to us 3 years ago.

So Bryan (macgyver) went to work, we got it off the roof, he. Rawled inside and repaired the leak...and now like new, going back on the roof.

Everything we do is to help others, and we love every minute!

Another day checking on our ladies...some of you may remember several months ago we had to start a new colony.

Well they are thriving, and should have some honey ready by first of the year!

Honey is just one of the many things produced right here on the property, to feed our staff and foster youth.

Life is good here at Eden Plan... but our mission is even better.
Helping foster kids that age out of the system have a home of their own, learn life skills and get the advantages they deserve is something we never get enough of!

Hurricane Hone brought us a lot of rain recently, so much so we almost revived "driveway kayak races"!

But with the rain, comes amazing fruit, veggies and more to feed those we help and those that help.

Here , things just grow better, tastes better... Whether cooking chickpea and spinach curry, or making homemade artisan ketchup, Hawaiian chili pepper vinegar, or pickled eggs... We grow to feed our family, which includes the aged out foster kids we help.
