We hit our goal and packed over 300 backpacks with school supplies. Tomorrow we will celebrate with free food by Ronnie Handson, music by Brian B Shynin, face painting, bouncy houses, caricatures & so much more. SEE YOU TOMORROW 10am-2pm !

Tomorrow is the day! Join us SATURDAY AUGUST 22 2026 10am - 2pm at 80th & PASEO for a fun-filled day as we celebrate the start of a new school year!

Our goal is to provide 300 backpacks to help Marlborough students start the school year ready to learn and succeed! 🎒📚

Marlborough Community Coalition is hosting Ready 2 Rise Back-to-School Block Party on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 80th & Paseo in Kansas City, Missouri.

This free community event will provide free backpacks, school supplies, family resources, youth activities, food, and connections to valuable community services for hundreds of neighborhood children and families.

We inviting neighboring businesses & orgs to host free resource booths and engage directly with Marlborough neighbors during the event. If you are interested send us a dm or email us at [email protected]

The Marlborough Community Coalition is excited to introduce Marlborough United, our Community Violence Intervention (CVI) team dedicated to strengthening relationships, reducing violence, connecting residents with resources, and creating opportunities that help our neighborhood thrive.
