What if the next 50 years started with you showing up?
We’ve got news…
On September 26, the DuBois Learning Center is bringing everybody back to the grounds for Learning Launch Day—and this one is part celebration, part launch, and part “come help us figure out what’s next.”
We’re kicking off the 2026–2027 academic year with food trucks, bounce houses, giveaways, community resources, on-site enrollment, Academic Coaches, educators, alumni and plenty of reasons to bring the whole family.
But here’s where it gets interesting… We’re opening up the grounds. Not with a finished rendering. Not with somebody else’s plan. But with possibility.
We are inviting Kansas City to help us look at this space differently—and we need the people who know how to make things happen in the room. DLC alumni, NPHC, educators, artists, architects, growers, builders, neighborhood leaders, funders, businesses, institutions, parents, students and the folks who always seem to know somebody who knows somebody… 😂
Pull up.
Walk it. Dream on it. Challenge an idea. Add one. Bring a connection. Find the piece you can help move. Because after 50 years, we’re not interested in simply preserving a legacy. We’re interested in giving the next generation something worthy of inheriting.
