Putting off an annual wellness exam because of cost happens more often than it should.
Cancer screenings, Pap tests, and routine checkups are often delayed when care feels financially out of reach, but preventive health should never be put on hold.
The Uninsured Women’s Health Services Program helps cover preventive care for eligible Missouri women ages 18–55 based on income guidelines. The program includes annual exams, breast and cervical cancer screenings, STI testing, and the HPV vaccine. These screenings are designed to catch concerns early, when they are most treatable.
Income guidelines apply, and eligibility is determined through the application process.
The Health Insurance Services team at Samuel U. Rodgers Health Center can explain the program and assist with enrollment so preventive care can move forward with confidence.
