We are so grateful to the Suburban Rotary of Omaha for sponsoring and volunteering at our very first BookLoop Open House! They helped teachers exchange old books for new ones, greeted our educators and provided smiles for all of us!

A huge congratulations to Bancroft Elementary for taking home over 5,000 BookLoop books! 🎊

That's 5,000 stories shared and countless kids who got to fall in love with a book. Thank you for being such an incredible part of our community.

We've been working alongside Canopy South to build the Cornerstone Lending Library, and it's finally open. 📚

Tucked inside a new apartment complex in Omaha's Canopy South neighborhood, this library is a little literary home just for residents. Kids and grown-ups alike can borrow a book, dive in, and swap it for another whenever they're ready for more.

Everyone deserves easy access to a good story, and now books are right down the hall for more families.

BookLoop is proud to offer some of 2025’s best-selling books, including the latest adventures from Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Dog Man.

Because the best way to foster a lifelong love of reading is to find a story you can’t put down. 💗

Did you know? 🐛📚

The Very Hungry Caterpillar sells a copy every 30 seconds, and Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? has sold more than 500,000 copies. BookLoop offers both of these classics, along with many others kids love.

Classic stories never go out of style! These favorites are part of our collection because we believe every child deserves the chance to find a story they love.

Reading one book a day can expose a child to nearly 290,000 more words by age 5 compared to children who aren’t read to regularly.

This National Literacy Month, we’ll be sharing more facts about the power of reading and how books help kids grow, learn, and dream bigger. 💙

Meet the people behind the pages: Introducing Adriana Castillo, Program Manager at BookLoop.

💜 Adriana is passionate about helping kids fall in love with reading and ensuring no child faces barriers to accessing books.

📚 Favorite children's book: ¡Vamos! Let's Cross the Bridge, a story she loves for its vibrant illustrations and the way it gives kids a chance to experience culture through a fun, visual adventure.

⭐ Her why behind BookLoop: When kids find stories they can connect with, reading becomes something they want to do rather than something they have to do. Adriana is proud to be part of an organization that helps make that possible for every child.
