Two weeks ago, we hosted our EIGHTH semiannual Festival of Reading. It was AMAZING! We had so much fun playing games, chowing down, and looking at and talking about books with KC kids of all ages. Thank you so much to all our partners, volunteers, families, and attendees for coming together to celebrate literacy.

It's time to bring the magic on the page to life with your imagination!

Our "Pete the Cat" Stories in the Spotlight drop-in craft activity will take place between the two Saturday showings, from 1:15-1:50 PM. Guided by a teaching artist from the Coterie, families can activate the characters from the "Pete the Cat" books using their body, voice, and imagination to create their own Pete-the-Catmoment. Each child will also get to take home their very own Pete the Cat book!

Participation in the Family Activity is free of charge to every registered ticket-holder for either the 12:00 pm or 2:00pm show, and all ages are welcome! Sign up here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeG9n6ApkdC7xcKdWvFMbOxx5KZkT7Gi4XEXWw9KvTuf1HJAg/viewform
