Higher Power Garage is presenting a Lunch and Learn event hosted by and located at Stronghold Data this coming Thursday the 18th from 11:45 to 1:00 pm. We are catering in Chick Filet. You can register for this event by scanning the QR Code or clicking on the link. Our event speakers are Mike Gideon (President of Higher Power Garage), James Richards (Board of Directors), and Mark Cannon (Board of Directors). We are hosting this event to share with the community what HPG is doing and how you can get involved. A community member has given us the opportunity to receive an Endowment Match of up to $100,000. So, this would be a great time to give to HPG and have your gift doubled!

This hurts. 💔
​Higher Power Garage was hit by thieves recently, and we are absolutely devastated. Several catalytic converters were stolen right off of our donated vehicles.
​As a small non-profit, we operate on a tight budget to serve our neighbors, and we simply cannot afford this type of loss. On average, a single catalytic converter costs about $1,000 to replace—and having multiple stolen completely derails our ability to help people. These vehicles were generously donated by community members to help the community, and it breaks our hearts that someone would take away from those in need.

​📞 Report tips: If you saw anything suspicious near the shop, or if you have any information at all, please contact the Joplin Police Department immediately or send us a direct message.

🚗🛠️ WEEKLY RECAP: Serving Our Community at Higher Power Garage! 🛠️🚗
​It has been another busy and incredibly rewarding week here at HPG. We’ve had the privilege of getting some amazing people back on the road safely. Here is a look at who we were able to serve this week:
​🌟 Meet Our Clients
​Miss Lexus: We are so excited to welcome her to the HPG family! Miss Lexus is a hardworking single parent currently putting herself through nursing school. To keep her moving forward, we replaced her vehicle's CV Shaft, replaced the transmission oil pan, and topped her off with 3 quarts of A/T fluid.
​Georganna: One of our wonderful senior clients living on a fixed income. We got her ride smoothed out by replacing both front wheel bearings.
​Angelique: A familiar face! Angelique is a returning client and another incredibly hardworking single momma. She needed quite a bit of love under the hood this week. We replaced her front brake pads and rotors, changed the right rear caliper, performed an oil change, and tackled her starting issues by installing a new alternator and battery.

The shadowbox fundraiser was a success thank you to everybody that came out and supported us it was a great time... can't wait till we can get together and make memories again.. here's all the great pictures love you ladies...
