As LATM visits with churches in various parts of the world, we have often seen that there is no material available to those seeking to teach and disciple children. We have been praying about this for more than a year and are excited that this year alone we’ve received requests to help publish materials for children’s ministries in Myanmar, Japan, Iraq, Eastern Europe, Kazakhstan, and now, northeastern India.
Gifts given to the Book Club this month will go toward printing Sunday School Curriculum in the Khasi language for preschoolers, early elementary, and late elementary children, as well as teacher guides for each level. A total of 4,500 copies will be printed. LATM’s partner in Meghalaya State, India, wrote, “We have been able to print some curriculum before, but only enough for our church. However, we have received many requests from other churches in the region who also have a great need for children’s materials and would like to use this too.”
Thank you, Book Club members, for your gifts this month so that many Khasi-speaking churches of Meghalaya State may have resources as they engage young children with the Word of God.
