Last Tuesday night 16 June 2026 the Des Moines Chapter of the 34th Infantry Division Association held their June 2026 meeting at Iowa’s Gold Star Military Museum on Camp Dodge, Iowa. A crowd of 29 current and former Red Bulls attended. The guest speaker for the evening was COL Eric Soults, Cdr of 2/34th IBCT who recently returned from deployment to the Middle East. I've included his slide presentation from the evening. What a great job the "Red Bulls" accomplished under his leadership. The evening meal of delicious pulled Pork sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, and the desert of cookies was catered by Daryl Drake from Hy-Vee in Boone, Ia. A special thank you also to Daryl Drake for furnishing some of these personal photos of some of those in attendance.

Military Museum with our social hour beginning at 1700 and meeting opening followed by a meal at 1800.

Reminder that meal costs are reimbursable by turning in your receipts to the Treasurer.
Note: Meal rates may increase to cover the costs of meals by providers including caters. Pay attention to
notices per meeting on the table next to sign-in sheets. Our goal is to at least break even to properly serve you
as your Elected Officers.
A list of expiring membership will be displayed on the sign-in table. See the Treasurer to renew your
memberships for $5.00 per year or take advantage of his Blue Light Special 4-yr membership for $20.00.
