Military Museum with our social hour beginning at 1700 and meeting opening followed by a meal at 1800.

Tuesday night 16 September 2025 the Des Moines Chapter of the 34th Infantry Division Association held their September 2025 meeting at Iowa’s Gold Star Military Museum on Camp Dodge, Iowa. A crowd of 28 current and former Red Bulls, and 1 guests (Former Red Bull) attended. The guest speaker for the evening was John Perkins, Cnstruction and Facilities Management Office on Camp Dodge. John spoke to us on the currrent and future Design and Constructions projects ongoing for the Guard in 2025-2029. The evening meal of delicious Chili and fixen's with Mini Apple and Cherry pies for desert was provided by our President Doug Claubaugh. A special thank you also to Daryl Drake for furnishing the personal photos of some of those in attendance.

Sorry little late getting our August 2025 meeting notes and photo's posted - Tuesday night 19 August 2025 the Des Moines Chapter of the 34th Infantry Division Association held their August 2025 meeting at Iowa’s Gold Star Military Museum on Camp Dodge, Iowa. A crowd of 28 current and former Red Bulls, and 2 guests attended. The guest speaker for the evening was SFC (R) Steven Cunningham, Boone County Veterans Affairs Service Officer. Steve gave us all an update on Veterans disability benefits and how to apply if you think you're eligable. The evening meal of delicious pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans and dessert of assorted cookies was provided by Darryl Drake. Thank You also to Daryl Drake for furnishing the personal photos of some of those in attendance.

Tuesday night 17 June 2025 the Des Moines Chapter of the 34th Infantry Division Association held their June 2025 meeting at Iowa’s Gold Star Military Museum on Camp Dodge, Iowa. A crowd of 26 current and former Red Bulls attended. The guest speaker for the evening was COL (R) Tim Sulzner, Owner/Operator of Ranger Tim's Habitat Restoration. Tim gave a very interesting briefing on his time in service, his work with Titan Roofing, the Veterans Flagpole Initiative and his new business Iowa CRP Management. The evening meal of delicious pulled pork sandwiches, baked mac & cheese, baked beans w/sausage, baked corn and dessert of assorted cookies was also provided by Tim. Thank You to Daryl Drake for furnishing the personal photos of some of those in attendance.

Tuesday night 15 April 2025 the Des Moines Chapter of the 34th Infantry Division Association held their April 2025 meeting at Iowa’s Gold Star Military Museum on Camp Dodge, Iowa. A crowd of 30 current and former Red Bulls attended. The guest speaker for the evening was COL (R) Todd Jacobus, Director of Iowa Department of Veterans Affairs, and Commadant of Iowa's Veterans Home. who gave a very interesting briefing on veterans benefits, and the operation of Iowa's Veterans Home. The evening meal of pulled pork sandwitches, cole slaw, and cupcakes was provided by Larry Woodworth. Thank You to Daryl Drake for furnishing the personal photos of those in attendance.
