We are incredibly grateful to our friends at Prairie Meadows Casino, Racetrack & Hotel for awarding CCC a $30,000 Community Betterment Grant for Family Programs and to the Polk County Board of Supervisors for their $5,000 grant for Polk County Programs. Grants like these help fund our camps and programs, giving the more than 830 Iowa families who turn to us during their cancer journey a place to connect and their kids a network of peers where they can be themselves.

Thank you, Jesse J Sanctuary Foundation, for hosting our September Caregiver Connect! Our caregivers started the evening with cocktails and appetizers at the sanctuary, then climbed on a hayride to dinner at a local restaurant. A storm rolled in on the way back, and our caregivers were troopers through it all. Between the hayride, the storm and plenty of great conversation, it was quite the evening.

Give your kiddo a day full of holiday magic, and give yourself a few hours to shop. 🎁 At CCC's Holiday Drop-Off, kids ages 5–12 will decorate cookies, make festive crafts and celebrate the season with friends while you wrap presents, run errands or put your feet up.

On , Children's Cancer Connection is proud to highlight the important mission of Mason's Light House. Soon to be Iowa’s only children’s hospice and respite care facility, Mason’s Light House will allow families to stay closer to home, surrounded by the people they love, instead of traveling long distances when every day together counts.

Today, we’re also honoring care that makes room for comfort, connection and joy, even in the hardest seasons. We're grateful for board members like Dr. Rhonda Idemmili, a palliative care physician with UnityPoint Health, who help make that kind of care possible.

Here's to bringing more support closer to home during the time that matters most.

Childhood cancer doesn't stop at the diagnosis. It reshapes an entire family, and the toll on parents, siblings and caregivers is real.

Our peer support programs and camps are here for that reason. Caregiver Connect, Kids Club, Teen Hangout and Camp Heart Connection camps connect children, teens and caregivers with others who understand their experiences, reminding them they don’t have to face it alone.

For 19 years, the Fore the Kids golf tournament has teed up big support for Iowa kids. ⛳This September's tournament raised an amazing $32,600 for Children's Cancer Connection! Every dollar helps provide programs for Iowa children and families affected by cancer.

It was a fun day on the course for a great cause. Thank you to all the golfers and sponsors who made this outing possible! 💛

Danny Joe's legacy truly lives on through the family's commitment to charitable giving.
