SUMMER AT THE SANGHA begins in just two weeks on Monday, July 6th. See our weekly flyers with summaries of the inclusive community classes offered this year for teens and young adults. The focus is nature & wellness in the educational program areas of history, culture, science, and creative arts. We meet on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 11am-3pm and offer three registration options (full 4-week program, individual weeks, and 3-day bundles across weeks). As our Spring season winds down, we would like to invite all teens and young adults to JOIN Sangha Education Center for our last Project Stewardship outing to Jones Beach Energy & Nature Center on Saturday, June 20th, from 1-3 pm (AND) to our center for an inclusive community class, Our Relationship with Food with Debra Spector, Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist the following Saturday, June 27th, 1-3 pm. The education and well-being of our young people and our living environment are two primary areas of focus at Sangha. We welcome all who would like to learn more. JOIN US on Sunday, June 14th. 1-3pm for Forest Bathing Meditative Nature Exploration at Historic Malcolm House on the Jericho Preserve. This time-honored practice is not new, but it was reintroduced in Japan during the 1980s as a remedy for the stressors of our modern society and has now spread across the world as the need for our reconnection to nature grows.
