What do you get when you mix a bunch of Jaycees, golf clubs, and Indiana summer heat? 🏌️☀️💦

Today the Jasper Jaycees were proud to sponsor and participate in the Holy Trinity Golf Scramble! While we may not be challenging anyone for a PGA Tour card anytime soon, we showed up ready to support a great cause, enjoy some friendly competition, and sweat enough to refill the water hazards.

A huge thank you to Holy Trinity for putting on another great event. We had a blast on the course and were honored to help support their mission.

Some teams chased birdies. We mostly chased shade. 😎

🌟 Jasper Jaycees Member Spotlight: Eric Hopf 🌟

This week we're helping you get to know the guy behind the Beer Garden! 🍻

If you've spent any time around the Jasper Jaycees, chances are you've crossed paths with Hopf. As our Vice President, he is always willing to jump in, lend a hand, and help make sure things get done. Whether he's pouring drinks in the Beer Garden, volunteering at events, or taking on yet another leadership role, Hopf is someone our organization can always count on.

With over 12 years of Jaycees involvement and enough previous positions to lose track of, Hopf has dedicated countless hours to serving our community. His favorite part? The Beer Garden, of course! And when asked to describe the Jasper Jaycees in one word, his answer was simple: Family. ❤️

When he's not volunteering, you can find him collecting sports cards, spending time with family and friends, supporting the Sons of the American Legion, or making sure he doesn't leave home without his wallet, keys, and phone (the holy trinity of adulthood).

Thank you, Hopf, for your leadership, dedication, sense of humor, and the many ways you help make the Jasper Jaycees and our community stronger. We appreciate everything you do!

🍻🎉 Night 3 in the Jasper Jaycees Strassenfest Bier Garten was one for the books! 🎉🍻

What. A. Night.

Our Jasper Jaycees crew stayed busy all day serving up cold drinks while hundreds of festival-goers kept the party rolling! From polka dancing and stein holding contests to everyone joining in for The Chicken Dance, the energy never slowed down.

And just when we thought we'd seen it all... a crowd-surfing tuba player made an appearance. Yes, you read that correctly! 🎺😂

To top it all off, we were treated to a beautiful rainbow before another incredible night under the lights. 🌈

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, raised a glass, danced, laughed, and helped make another unforgettable Strassenfest Bier Garten. You kept the celebration going all the way until we shut things down at 1:00 AM!

Prost! 🍺 We couldn't do it without our amazing volunteers, supporters, and festival guests. Here's to another successful year of making memories in the Jasper Jaycees Bier Garten!

Did you know that every year the Jasper Jaycees place donation containers throughout the Strassenfest Bier Garten to help raise funds for a deserving local nonprofit?

This year, all donations collected will benefit Operation Mind, Body and Soul Corp., a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting Veterans, First Responders, and their families through mental health awareness, su***de prevention, peer support, fitness programs, community outreach, and resource assistance. Their programs include a free gym and recreation space, su***de prevention education, job placement assistance, mobility equipment support, and connections to vital mental health resources.

Operation Mind, Body and Soul Corp. proudly serves Dubois County, Perry County, Harrison County, and surrounding communities, ensuring that those who have served our country and communities have access to the support and resources they deserve.

So while you're enjoying a cold drink, great music, and time with friends in the Bier Garten, consider dropping your spare change or a few dollars into one of the donation containers. Every donation helps make a difference right here in our community.

What a beautiful night with perfect weather, cold drinks, and great company. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make another night a success!
