A few months ago, a veteran walked into my office looking for help with supplemental claims and a few new conditions. Theyโd already paid over $4,000 to a lawyer, but were still struggling to get through the process.
I reviewed their paperwork, went over their diagnoses, listened to what they were dealing with, and together we filed everything correctly. They went to their C&P exams and answered honestly; no downplaying, no exaggerating.
Today, they were rated 100% disabled.
That might sound alarming to some, but to me it highlights the real wear and tear our military endures. This compensation isnโt a handout; itโs part of the promise our country makes to its service members. They sign a contract that asks everything of them, up to and including their life. In return, the government promises to take care of them when service leaves its mark.
Today, that promise was kept, and it will make a real difference for this veteran and their family.
