Foundation Facts Friday

Welcome to the very first edition of Foundation Facts Friday! This is where we'll take a look back at the people, milestones, and moments that have shaped the Memorial Medical Center Foundation and our commitment to keeping quality healthcare close to home.

Did you know the Memorial Hospital Foundation began its journey in November 1974? The Foundation's very first board meeting was held on November 8, 1974, and during its first year, it granted $594.14 to support healthcare in our community.

Over fifty years later, thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, volunteers, and community partners, the Foundation distributes nearly $1 million annually to assist patients in need, support caregivers, advance hospital services, and keep quality healthcare close to home.

What started as a small act of philanthropy has grown into a lasting legacy of compassion and community impact.

❤️ Thank you to everyone who has helped write the first 50 years of our story. ❤

The Memorial Medical Center Foundation is grateful to recognize the generosity of the Women of the Moose Jasper Chapter #955, who recently donated $1,000 to the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center.

The donation was made possible through the group's successful Purse Bingo fundraiser, which brought community members together for an evening of fun while supporting a meaningful cause. Proceeds from the event will help support the important work of the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center and the patients and families it serves.

Community partnerships like this play a vital role in advancing healthcare close to home. Through their fundraising efforts and commitment to giving back, the Women of the Moose Jasper Chapter #955 are helping make a positive impact on the lives of local cancer patients.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Women of the Moose Chapter #955 for their support of the Lange-Fuhs Cancer Center and for their dedication to improving the health and well-being of our community.
