MUSH Rescue

MUSH Rescue MUSH Rescue is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of Siberian Huskies MUSH Rescue is not a shelter with visiting hours.

We are comprised of a network of foster homes run entirely by volunteers. Our chapter directors, officers, and trustees are also volunteers. What brings us together is our love for Siberian Huskies and the desire to help these displaced animals find their fur-ever homes. As a nonprofit, federal tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, our expenses are funded by adoption fees and donations. We rely on th

e generosity of others who, like us, understand and admire the complexity of this unique and highly intelligent breed, and want to help combat the effects of pet overpopulation in our community.

Nova is 11 months old. She is very energetic and loves dogs/cats/ and other people. She is potty trained and crate trained. She would work best with someone who can give her lots of attention and love. Our schedules are so busy we can't give her the time and attention she needs and deserves.

"Winter" is located in Warner Robins, Ga in animal control. She is a beautiful female Siberian Husky. She is two years old and up-to-date on her parvo, Bordetella, and flea and tick medication. She landed at animal control because her owner is unable to contain her. She is absolutely an escape artist, just typical husky behavior. She will dart out doors and climb over fences. She has not tried to get out at animal control yet. She is large-dog friendly and maybe mildly dominant, but nothing concerning. She did well with an energetic, happy, big female pit bull mix. Corrected her for some behaviors, and the pitty responded well.

Beautiful Siberian Huskies, Smoke and Ice, lost their home when their owner died. My friend is fostering them in a lovely home with a fenced yard. They are believed to be littermates. The female, Ice, is spayed, has classic markings, and is friendly and quiet. The male, Smoke, is black and will be neutered on 9/10/2026. He loves to play hard with my friend’s dog! Both are lovely-tempered dogs. They’re leash-trained and housebroken, and fully vetted, too.

"He looks more like a Shepherd, but behaves like a Husky. He is six years old, and we have had him since he was a puppy. He is an amazing dog - smart, gentle, trained, healthy, never an ounce of aggression towards any human, and gets along great with most dogs. We are in this unfortunate position of looking to rehome him because of him escaping. We have three children under five and have not been able to give him as much attention as we once did, which has caused him to get bored and occasionally escape. We have tried shock collars and installed a 5-foot fence, but he will find a way to escape even if a child opens the door for a second. This has caused huge issues with neighbors, making it impossible for us to risk it happening again. We have asked around our social circle with no luck, and we do not want to give him to a shelter. We are able to keep him for a short period of time while looking for a new home, but he is very limited in his freedom, which is not sustainable. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, always been on preventative heartworm medication and flea and tick prevention. I have all of his medical records and am happy to answer any questions. Frankie just needs an individual or family that is equipped to give him the attention and care he deserves."

We have several beautiful Huskies in need of homes right now, with Zeppelin and Sammy being the most urgent. Both are facing a possible euthanasia deadline this week. 💔

If you love Huskies and have been thinking about adding one to your family, please come meet these wonderful dogs. They each have their own unique personality and so much to offer the right home.
Rescues, if you have room to help, we would be incredibly grateful. ❤️

Please come meet our Huskies and help us find them the homes—and futures—they deserve. 🐾
