💛 Respite Care Available for One Caregiver 💛

Would you like to attend our caregiver support group but don’t have someone to stay with your loved one?

Thanks to a generous sponsor, we currently have ONE respite care sponsorship available through the STAR Center Home Care Program.

✨ Up to 4 hours of respite care provided
✨ Attend our caregiver support group knowing your loved one is cared for
✨ Enjoy a meal, connect with others, and participate in our restorative activity

📣 CALLING ALL MALE CAREGIVERS 📣

We’re looking for a male caregiver who would be willing to share their experience and speak on compassion fatigue at an upcoming For the Caregivers support group.

Compassion fatigue is something many caregivers experience but rarely talk about. The emotional, physical, and mental toll of caring for a loved one can be overwhelming, and we believe hearing from another caregiver who has walked that path can make a real difference.

You don’t need to be a professional speaker. You simply need a caregiver’s heart and a willingness to share your story, challenges, lessons learned, and what has helped you along the way.

Whether you are caring for a spouse, parent, child, family member, or friend, your experience matters.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post. 💙

💛 MALE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED 💛

I need a little help!

At our last caregiver support group meeting, I completely ran out of time to pick up the RIFA food boxes. Thankfully, my neighbor Hal stepped in with his truck and saved the day!

As our caregiver community continues to grow, I’m realizing this has become bigger than what I can do alone—and that’s a wonderful problem to have. 😊

I’m looking for 1–2 volunteers who would be willing to help pick up and deliver approximately 30–40 RIFA food boxes for our next meeting.

📦 What: Pick up RIFA food boxes and deliver them to Englewood
📅 When: Monday, July 6
🕑 Time: 2:00–3:00 PM
🚚 Truck, SUV, or larger vehicle preferred

This would save me a tremendous amount of time and help ensure our caregivers continue receiving this valuable resource each month.

Because of your support, July’s Caregiver Support Group restorative activity is officially funded.

Every shirt purchased helped make this possible. Your generosity is helping reduce isolation, prevent burnout, and strengthen caregivers in our community.

To everyone who purchased a shirt, shared a post, told a friend, or encouraged someone to support this fundraiser—thank you. What may have seemed like a simple t-shirt purchase will create a meaningful opportunity for caregivers to connect, recharge, and feel supported.
