Ideally we will develop a broad enough base that one day we will be able to connect a newly diagnosed patient with someone of the same gender who had the same type of cancer, took the same kind of treatments and/or surgery. That journey partner will become just that: a partner walking with the patient through four stages: Diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and to new normal. If we are not able to lin

k someone to a similarly diagnosed survivor then we will connect you to a caring cancer survivor who will at least know many of the emotions you are going through.

We recently awarded our first scholarship!!!! The student is a Christian Studies major. His mother is in treatment for the second time fighting breast cancer.
