It's the time of year to reap the rewards of your garden! 🪏 If you find your basket overflowing with produce, consider donating your surplus to RIFA. Here are just some of the ways we use the fresh produce that we receive. 👇

🥕 SOUP KITCHEN: Our Soup Kitchen manager, Tiny, turns your produce into fresh, nutritious meals for the patrons of our Soup Kitchen, which is open 365 days a year!

🌽 CHOICE PANTRY: Our patrons love to have options when they shop in our Choice Food Pantry. Fresh fruits and veggies go fast!

If you're interested in providing fresh produce for the community, you can bring it to our donation door at 133 Airways Blvd! We accept donations Monday-Saturday, 9am-4pm. Please be sure to donate during our business hours to ensure the produce doesn't spoil in the heat!

Happy Monday! Will you help us meet the needs of our Soup Kitchen? You can drop off items at the donation door on 133 Airways Blvd, Monday-Saturday from 9am-4pm. We also have an Amazon wishlist linked in the comments, where you can order our needed items and they will be shipped straight to us.

Every week, we ask for donations for our Soup Kitchen. But do you know just how much food we utilize in the kitchen every week? 🤔

Basic supplies used in a seven-day period:
☕️ Coffee: 57 gallons
🥫 Canned Veggies: 540lbs
🍨 Sugar: 15lbs
🧋 Creamer: 10.5lbs
🍴 Forks: 1,642

This is just a sampling of how many commonly used items we go through in a week.

The Soup Kitchen is open 365 days a year, rain or shine, holidays included. All so we can continue to provide hot meals for hungry individuals and families!

The donations we receive every week make a massive difference in our ability to reach out with the love of Christ by providing physical and spiritual nourishment.

RIFA is excited to announce Canstruction 2026: An Evening with Shawn Reynolds presented by Foundation Bank! 🤩

As seen on tour with Tim Hawkins, Shawn Reynolds is a nationally touring comedian whose Dry Bar Comedy special has amassed MILLIONS of views. He has headlined multiple tours including the MidWest Clean Comedy All-Stars Tour and the UpStanding Comedy Tour in Canada. He has appeared on TBN, CircleTV, locally on ABC & NBC, was a finalist in Chicago’s National “Clean Comedy Challenge” and he’s the WINNER of the “Funniest Comic East of the Mississippi” competition. He’s also the founder of “Stand-Up For Adoption”; a comedy benefit series that has raised thousands for families trying to adopt children with special needs.
