Today was truly a special moment for the Jackson Central-Merry High School Cougar family.

To our students, alumni, supporters, and friends—thank you for showing up, standing together, and making the Unveiling Ceremony such a powerful and memorable occasion. Your presence reflected the pride, unity, and enduring spirit that make JCM so special.

We are also incredibly grateful to everyone who supported I AM JCM Coalition. This moment would not have been possible without your commitment, generosity, and belief in preserving and elevating the legacy of Jackson Central-Merry.

What we unveiled today was more than a statue—it was a symbol. A symbol of resilience. A symbol of excellence. A symbol of a community that refuses to let its story be forgotten.

Due to the forecasted rain on Monday, April 27, the Unveiling Ceremony has been rescheduled to Tuesday, April 28 at 1:00 p.m.

Location:�HubCity Stadium, Jackson, Tennessee�Main Entrance off Allen Avenue, between the former West Campus and JCM Early College High

You are cordially invited to join students, alumni, supporters, and community members as we celebrate this special and historic occasion.

Attention: Jackson Central-Merry family—students, alumni, and supporters.

We are asking ALL JCM Classes to contribute $50 towards the statue to help us reach our goal. Your gift will directly support, the installation of the statue and platform.

The newly Hub City Stadium, owned by the Jackson-Madison County School System, serves as the home field for Jackson Central-Merry High School.

The addition of this Cougar statue, to be prominently placed outside the stadium, will enhance the facility’s aesthetic appeal and celebrate the history and achievements of JCM alumni, students, and supporters.
