There is something deeply encouraging about watching the Lord build His work step by step, prayer by prayer, and brick by brick.
This week, our Indigenous Outreach International missionaries gathered together at the new ministry property in Ethiopia for a special time of prayer, encouragement, and fellowship. Standing on the ground where new rooms are being prepared, they prayed for the continued progress of the building work, for financial provision, and for the health and endurance of all who serve alongside this ministry around the world.
As Negash shared, “There are so many push and pull pressures in life everywhere, and we need to encourage one another and keep moving on the right path of life, enjoying Him alone.”
While there is usable space at the new compound and the offices have already been moved onto the new property, there remain some necessary improvements. The construction is moving forward well. Temporary ministry rooms, proper drainage systems, a permanent septic tank, and restroom facilities are all underway.
Our engineer, Chere, is providing supervision, while the team continues regular ministry and office work at the same time. We are especially thankful for the hard work of ministers like Sheferaw, Kasegne, Getachew, and Melese, who have been faithfully laboring alongside some of the TLC fathers who are working on the project.
Please continue praying:
* For the completion of the major work before the heavy rains arrive
* For strength, wisdom, and unity among the missionaries
* For God’s continued financial provision
* That this property would become a place of ministry, discipleship, prayer, and hope for many years to come
We thank God for each of you who pray, give, encourage, and stand with this ministry. The work continues because the body of Christ continues to labor together.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.” — Psalm 127:1 NKJV
