There is something deeply encouraging about watching the Lord build His work step by step, prayer by prayer, and brick by brick.

This week, our Indigenous Outreach International missionaries gathered together at the new ministry property in Ethiopia for a special time of prayer, encouragement, and fellowship. Standing on the ground where new rooms are being prepared, they prayed for the continued progress of the building work, for financial provision, and for the health and endurance of all who serve alongside this ministry around the world.

As Negash shared, “There are so many push and pull pressures in life everywhere, and we need to encourage one another and keep moving on the right path of life, enjoying Him alone.”

While there is usable space at the new compound and the offices have already been moved onto the new property, there remain some necessary improvements. The construction is moving forward well. Temporary ministry rooms, proper drainage systems, a permanent septic tank, and restroom facilities are all underway.

Our engineer, Chere, is providing supervision, while the team continues regular ministry and office work at the same time. We are especially thankful for the hard work of ministers like Sheferaw, Kasegne, Getachew, and Melese, who have been faithfully laboring alongside some of the TLC fathers who are working on the project.

Please continue praying:

* For the completion of the major work before the heavy rains arrive
* For strength, wisdom, and unity among the missionaries
* For God’s continued financial provision
* That this property would become a place of ministry, discipleship, prayer, and hope for many years to come

We thank God for each of you who pray, give, encourage, and stand with this ministry. The work continues because the body of Christ continues to labor together.

“Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.” — Psalm 127:1 NKJV

First day in the new compound! Praise God — the True Light Childcare Project finally has a permanent home.

The fresh paint and new signage on the offices look wonderful, and for the first time, this place is beginning to feel like home.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, given, and supported this ministry along the way.

There is still work ahead, including installing a new septic system and completing some leveling work, but we are grateful for how far the Lord has brought us. Although the property is bought and paid for, we are also continuing to raise funds for ongoing improvements to the property so that it can better serve the children and staff for years to come.

You can help train a pastor. 📖

For just $172 per year for three years, you can partner with a ministry student in Ethiopia as they complete their training.

Each student also contributes personally—making this a shared investment in their calling.

Your support helps equip men to lead churches, disciple believers, and stand firm in the truth of God’s Word.

📖 “Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.” — Galatians 6:6 (NKJV)

This is not just education—it’s multiplication.

Will you invest in the future of the church?

Strong churches require strong, faithful leaders.

In Ethiopia, what began as small gatherings of ministers has grown into an accredited Bible training program serving students from multiple churches and denominations.

These men are not asking for financial help—they are asking for truth.

Many have shared that their lives and ministries have been transformed. One even described it as a “new conversion,” seeing Christ more clearly than ever before.

📖 “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” — 2 Timothy 2:2 (NKJV)

Please pray for these students as God strengthens His church.

BEFORE WE ASKED

I’ve heard stories of missionaries who never ask for funding—just trusting God to move in the hearts of His people.

I had never experienced that… until now.

For years, we prayed for a permanent home for our ministry in Ethiopia. After past disappointments, we made a decision: we would not raise funds until we knew it was certain.

So we prayed… and waited.

And God provided.

Not only were we able to purchase the property—we did it 100% debt-free.

No campaign. No pressure. Just God’s faithful provision.

📖 “And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19 (NKJV)

To Him be all the glory.

Looking for a worthy cause and the best way to give?

At Indigenous Outreach International, your support helps us serve pastors, churches, children, and communities in Ethiopia—including the precious children’s choir pictured here from one of the churches we serve. Their joy, worship, and love for Christ are a reminder of the eternal value of Gospel-centered ministry.

We use Zeffy, a platform that allows 100% of your donation to go directly to the ministry—with no fees taken out.

You’ll be given the option to support Zeffy, but that amount is completely adjustable.

It’s a simple way to maximize your impact and help strengthen ministries like these.

📖 “So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.” — 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NKJV)

Thank you for your faithful generosity!

NEWS FROM TOGO

(Photo - candidates for baptism)

We want to express our deepest gratitude for your prayers and support as we begin this move deeper into this year of ministry. It has truly been a good beginning, and we give all glory to the Lord for the ways He has helped us beyond what we expected.

What began as an effort to awaken a dormant work has been richly blessed by the Lord. Many of our churches have been stirred anew toward evangelism, and we are seeing fresh passion for sharing the Gospel. The Lord has especially blessed our evangelistic outreaches this quarter, and even the youth are now actively participating in this important work.

In one of the villages, we saw around eighty people come to Christ, and five were baptized on Easter Saturday. The village churches continue to grow, though we are currently facing challenges with theft of church property. We ask for your prayers for protection and wisdom.

We would also like to ask for your prayers for several new converts from Muslim families. Please pray that the Lord will strengthen them, guide them, and help them remain firm in their new faith.

Recently, our area experienced a heavy rainstorm that caused flooding in about fifteen homes, with several houses damaged. A young boy near our church was affected, and our church became a refuge for nearly 200 people for about two weeks. During this difficult time, God opened a powerful door for evangelism, and some came to salvation through this crisis.

Our church building project is also progressing well, with support from sister churches in Lomé. We are now about 80% complete, and we kindly ask for your prayers and support as we seek to finish the work in due time.

This past Sunday we had a blessed service and shared communion together, followed by a time of fellowship and group photos.

We also want to sincerely thank all the churches and partners who continue to pray for us. We are praying for you as well and deeply appreciate all your support and labor in the Lord.

Prayer Requests:

Pray for provision of both human and financial resources for the ongoing mission work.

Pray for good health and strength for my wife and me as we continue in ministry.

Pray for the village pastors, that they may receive the support they need to faithfully serve.

Pray for open doors as we seek to begin work in new villages where the Lord leads.

May the Lord bless you all abundantly.

Yours in Christ,
Brother Benjamin & Marie Bonni
Pastor in Togo, West Africa, and supported by IOI

You have an opportunity to be part of what God is doing in Ethiopia.

With our new ministry compound, we now have expanded opportunities for teams to serve:

🔨 Construction teams
🦷 Dental teams (URGENT NEED)
👧 Youth & children’s ministry
📖 Teaching & discipleship
✝️ Evangelism outreach

We’re also launching a new initiative—sponsoring local Ethiopian doctors and dentists to provide care in communities, at TLC, and even in prisons.

Sponsoring a local medical or dental team cost as little as $1,500, local doctors serving alongside local ministers.

You can GO… or you can SEND.

📖 “How shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?” — Romans 10:14–15 (NKJV)

Will you be part of it?
