Hospice of West Tennessee started as "Jackson Area Hospice" in the 80's. We were run by a group of volunteer physicians and other healthcare professionals with a dream to provide high quality care to those at end of life. We've been a Medicare Approved agency since 1986.

We've withstood the test of time simply because we are great at what we do. Thank you for allowing us to serve you, West Tennessee!

Help us Congratulate Lisa Cox on 25 years with WTH. Lisa is our billing manager at Hospice of West Tennessee. She is definitely a team player, always willing to help with anything. She is married to Bill Cox and they have a fur baby named R***r who keeps them busy. She loves her beach trips, pool time, reading and likes to shop. She is an amazing cook who loves to bake. She makes some of the best brownies you’ll ever eat! We love our Lisa! She is a huge asset to our Hospice of West Tennessee family. We are grateful for her 25 years of dedication!

I want to say thank you to my staff at Hospice of West Tennessee. Many of you, as well as several of our volunteers, gave up your Sunday afternoon to assist with our annual Memorial Service. I'm so proud of each of you. I'm very blessed to be in this position. A special thank you to Fania Amburn and Lisa P Cox for all the planning and preparation. So many participated and I pray our patient's families know what an honor it has been to be a part of their journey. Hospice may not be able to add days to your life, but we strive to add life to your days. ❤️
