As our new Partner Support Coordinator, Merrin will help care for and connect the ministry leaders and partners serving across Jackson.

A lifelong resident of the Jackson Metro Area, Merrin is grateful for the opportunity to serve the community she has always called home. She is a Mississippi College graduate and an active member of Grace City Church.

We are so excited to have Merrin on the team and cannot wait to see how God uses her gifts to support our partners and help hope flourish throughout our city.

Volunteers help make Tuesday nights happen, from welcoming families and helping with activities to stepping in for practical needs throughout the evening. There are also opportunities to serve at special events during the year.

A pretty good way to start the season!

Belhaven University’s men’s and women’s soccer teams spent time serving with our ministry partner, Camp Pioneer, helping with projects around camp and getting to know the people behind the work.

We love seeing students show up for Jackson in practical ways, and we’re grateful for partners like Camp Pioneer who create space for that kind of service to happen.

Yesterday, 28 community leaders representing 16 ministries gathered at 23:6 Place to learn from The NET about how to respond well when someone is struggling with their mental health.

Leader Lab exists to help local leaders feel better prepared for the conversations they’re already having.

What can happen when you give one Tuesday night a week to one student?

That’s the idea behind mentoring at Red Door Jackson. Mentors build consistent relationships with students throughout the school year, with time for conversation, academic support, and discipleship along the way.

You don’t have to be an expert. Red Door gives you the structure and support. You bring the willingness to get to know a student and keep showing up.

Why is the door red?

WJTV asked, and we got to tell the story. Red Door Jackson began with a Bible study in a Fondren home with a red door. Kids started showing up, and the name stuck.

That same idea of creating a safe place still shapes Red Door Jackson as mentors build consistent relationships with students each week.
