🎓 MASRO 2026–2027 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION — NOW OPEN! 🎓
The Mississippi Association of School Resource Officers (MASRO) is excited to offer scholarship opportunities to Mississippi high school seniors!

We want to make sure applicants know exactly how to access and properly complete the fillable scholarship application. Follow the step-by-step instructions in the graphic above.

• Visit MASRO.org/scholarship
• Scroll to the bottom of the Scholarship page
• Select “Click here for the application”
• TYPE your information directly into the fillable form
• When downloading, be sure to select “Save with changes” so your typed information is saved
• Then print the completed application, obtain all required signatures, and follow the submission instructions carefully
• Be sure to include ALL required documents — incomplete applications will not be considered

Mississippi, it’s time to take ACTION!!!!

We need to be talking about period poverty, menstrual health, menstrual equity, and what access actually looks like for menstruators across our state. So, we’re bringing the conversation and the ACTION! Right here to Jackson! Join The PUPA Project as we recognize Period Action Day and stand alongside PERIOD. in the national movement to advance menstrual equity. Come hear from advocates, community leaders, youth voices, legislators, and community members as we talk about what’s happening in Mississippi, what needs to change, and how we can move forward together. And we’re not stopping at conversation! After the discussion, we’re getting to work with a Period Product Packing Party to prepare supplies for our communities.

Professor Angela Y. Davis is coming to Tougaloo College on January 28th, 2026!

Join Mississippi for a Just World (MSJW) and Tougaloo College for the next event in our Voices for a Just World Lecture Series: an evening with Professor Angela Y. Davis, moderated by Dr. Ebony Lumumba.

This moderated conversation will center on the themes of Freedom Is a Constant Struggle, exploring how freedom struggles in the Deep South are deeply connected to movements for human rights and dignity across Palestine, Sudan, and Congo.
