In one week, supporters, sponsors, volunteers, and friends of Miracles for Kids will come together in Los Cabos for the 29th Annual Stars & Stripes Tournament & Music Festival.

While the event is known for incredible experiences, breathtaking views, and unforgettable memories, its true purpose is much deeper.

Every registration helps provide stability for families caring for a critically-ill child. Every dollar raised helps keep a roof overhead, pay essential bills, provide wellness services, and ensure families have the support they need during some of life's most difficult moments.

Stars & Stripes has helped turn compassion into action—and this year will be no different.
As we count down the final week, we're grateful for every person helping make a difference in the lives of the families we serve.

So far in 2026, Miracles for Kids has helped provide:
✨ 10,052 nights of sleep for families through stable housing support
✨ 873 essential bills paid through our Life Line Program
✨ 425 deliveries of groceries, supplies, and critical essentials
✨ 96 wellness sessions supporting emotional and mental well-being

Behind every number is a family navigating the unimaginable — parents balancing hospital stays, treatments, financial hardship, and the emotional weight of caring for a critically-ill child.

Some acts of kindness restore far more than what’s been lost. 💙

Thanks to the generosity of The Change Reaction, 15-year-old Layla and her family were able to return home after severe roof damage forced them to evacuate during an already overwhelming medical journey.

Layla is currently battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, and with ongoing treatments and limited financial resources, the repairs needed to make their home safe again felt impossible. This one-time gift helped restore not only their roof — but stability, comfort, and peace of mind for their family.

What makes this story even more special is how Layla chose to respond. Inspired by the kindness shown to her family, she donated proceeds from her Girl Scout cookie sales to another child battling cancer. A beautiful reminder that compassion creates a ripple effect. ✨

Our Back-to-School Basket of Miracles program helps children and siblings in families served by Miracles for Kids begin the school year feeling prepared, supported, and confident.

Creating space to slow down, reflect, and heal. 🎨💙

Last Thursday, families in our Balance Program gathered at the Miracles for Kids office for a special Art Therapy Workshop inspired by the “A Window Between Worlds” curriculum.

Through the creative exercise “Personal Needs Flower,” participants were encouraged to reflect on their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while expressing themselves through art in a safe and supportive environment. The workshop created space for self-care, self-awareness, connection, and meaningful conversation — reminding families that caring for themselves is just as important as caring for others.

At Miracles for Kids, programs like Balance are designed to support the emotional well-being of families facing childhood illness, helping them find moments to recharge, connect, and simply breathe.
