We are thankful to share our campers and staff at both Camp Gallahue and Camp Na Wa Kwa are safe after last night's storm affecting central and southern Indiana, and our properties did not sustain significant damage. Thank you to our camp and properties staff for going above and beyond to assure campers were safe.

Noticing how new commercial and residential construction was negatively affecting habitats in her area, Peyton set out to create Project Owl Warrior to protect local bird populations. She built and installed screech owl boxes at W.S. Gibbs Memorial Park in Avon, created two websites, and made materials for Daisy Girl Scouts to help earn the Animal Observer Badge. Peyton plans to study computer science at Purdue this fall.

Our amazing service team members are Stronger Together! This past Saturday, volunteers and staff gathered for the Service Team Conference to plan for supporting each other for a great membership year this fall. Additionally, several volunteers were awarded the GSUSA President's Award, recognizing the outstanding contributions of Girl Scout service delivery teams or committees. It was truly a wonderful gathering of camaraderie, idea sharing, and Girl Scout spirit. We ended with the long-time GS tradition of a 100-person friendship circle and singing Make New Friends. Thank you again to our service team!

Get ready, s'mores lovers! 🍫🔥 The tasty tradition of S'mores on the Circle is back this year! We invite you all to Monument Circle on July 15 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for some mouthwatering chef-made s'mores at just $6 a piece (cash and digital payment)! And the cherry on top? Carmel High School graduate Sarah noticed her neighborhood ponds were having issues with ground instability due to muskrats burrowing holes. She decided to build owl boxes as a natural way to better support the ecosystem. A 13-year Girl Scout, Sarah plans to attend college in the fall.
